In 1995, Las Vegas residents and real estate investors Sis. Sharaf and Bro. Syed Haseebullah purchased a nearly one acre parcel of land located on Las Vegas’ north end. Upon seeing a dilapidated and destroyed house sitting on nearly an acre of land, the duo formulated a plan to allow the house to serve as a place of religious worship for what was, at the time, only family and a few friends who lived in the area. Over the course of years, the house on the land continued to undergo renovations. In 2005, Bro. Syed passed away.
