Masjid
Ibrahim is a mosque with a long standing history in
the city of Las Vegas. The land upon which the mosque
was purchased in 1997 and the home upon the land was
converted into a mosque. The mosque is located in
the northern section of Las Vegas and seeks to provide
Muslims in the area with a place of worship and assist
in interfaith efforts as well. The masjid is open
for prayers five times a day and additionally there
are classes which are offered every Saturday to the
community. Saturday classes include Quran instruction,
Islamic study for teens and Islamic study for adults.
Additionally, the masjid participates in Prison Dawa
as well as a feeding program, which seeks to feed
those in the Las Vegas community regardless of race
or religion. The masjid is recognized by the US government
a chapter 501C organization, meaning that any and
all donations are tax deductible. |
